Message From the Principal...

Greetings! Welcome to GREEN Charter Middle! I am thrilled to have joined the GREEN team as the Principal of the Middle School. It is an honor to serve our incredible community of learners, their families, and our committed educators. I am also a proud parent of a GREEN student.

As we launch into the new year, we encourage you to join us on our journey. We will be focusing on school culture and building a community that supports student autonomy and growth. We believe strongly in structuring our school around the needs of the local and global community. We call it voice and choice. While maintaining state standards, we want to offer as much opportunity as we can, to allow our students and teachers to create an environment that is safe, healthy, scholarly, and engaging. We hope to encourage faculty and students to lead with vulnerability, be open to learning, and to share in productive discourse. Being the first year as a stand-alone middle school we plan to develop clubs, teams and school-based organizations based on student and faculty interest. In addition to climate and culture we are doubling down on our efforts to honor the Mission and Vision of GREEN, as well as our focus on STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics), and the challenging academic environment synonymous with GREEN Charter Schools.
